Johan Andrés Mojica Palacio (born August 21, 1992 in Cali ), Johan Mojica for short , is a Colombian football player . The left full-back is under contract with FC Girona and is a national team player .

Career

societies

Mojica began his career with the second division club Academia FC and played for a few months in 2012 for Llaneros FC . For the 2013 season he moved to the first division club Deportivo Cali . On March 30, 2013 Mojica completed his first game in the first division in a 3-0 win at Itagüi Ditaires .

For the 2013/14 season he was signed by the Spanish first division club Rayo Vallecano . On September 15, 2013 he made his debut in the 5-0 defeat at Málaga CF when he came on in the 68th minute for Sebastián Fernández . For the 2014/15 season he was loaned to the second division Real Valladolid for two seasons . There he scored his first competitive goal on October 26, 2014 in a 4-3 win at Albacete Balompié . On December 21, 2014, he scored the first brace of his career in a 7-0 home win against FC Barcelona B. At the end of January 2017, he was awarded to FC Girona for a year and a half and then firmly committed.

National team

Mojica was first used on March 26, 2015 for the Colombian national team. He was substituted on for Juan Quintero in the 63rd minute in the 6-0 win against Bahrain and scored the goal to make it 5-0 in the 79th minute. In June 2018, Mojica was appointed to the Colombian squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia by national coach José Pékerman . In the tournament Mojica was used in all four games of his team, which failed in the round of 16 on penalties to England .
