Jordan Paulus (born July 8, 1990 ) is a Belgian ice hockey player who has been playing for the Bulldogs de Liège again since 2015 in the Belgian-Dutch BeNe League .
Career
Jordan Paulus began his career as a hockey player with the Buffalos Liège . He made his debut for the Buffalo at the age of 14 in the Belgian second division. In 2007 he moved to local rivals Bulldogs de Liège , who had just been promoted to the Belgian honorary division . In 2008 he left Liège and Wallonia and joined the IHC Leuven . With the club from the traditional university town, he won the Belgian championship title in 2010 . In the 2011/12 season he and his team also took part in the North Sea Cup . When he was discontinued in 2012, he moved to HYC Herentals , which was the only Belgian club to be included in the more highly rated Dutch honorary division . In 2013 he won the Belgian Cup with HYC . In 2015 he returned to Liège and now plays with the Bulldogs in the Belgian-Dutch BeNe League . In 2018 he was able to win the Belgian ice hockey cup with the team .
International
For Belgium, Paulus took part in the junior division at the U18 World Championships in Division II in 2006 , 2007 and 2008 as well as in the U20 World Championships in Division III in 2007 and Division II in 2008 , 2009 and 2010 , when he was the top scorer among defenders and the best player in his career Team was chosen to participate.
With the men's national team , Paulus played at the World Championships of Division II in 2010 , 2011 , 2012 , 2013 , 2014 , 2015 , 2016 , 2017 and 2018 , with the promotion from B to A group in Division II in 2012.
