Jozef Móder (born September 19, 1947 in Tvrdošovce ) is a former Slovak football player who played for Czechoslovakia . He was part of the team that won the 1976 European Championship .
Career
Móder began his professional career at Inter Bratislava , from there he moved to Lokomotíva Košice . During his subsequent time at Dukla Praha , the midfielder was called up for the first time in 1972 in the team of the ČSSR . From 1973 to 1980 he worked for Lokomotíva Košice again.
From 1975 he was a regular of the Czechoslovak national team . He played a total of 17 international matches and scored 3 goals. The highlight of his team career was certainly winning the European Football Championship in 1976 .
From 1980 to 1982 he worked for the Grazer AK abroad . In the dress of the athletes, he completed 60 league games and scored nine goals.
He was also part of the GAK team that won the ÖFB Cup in 1981 . This success is something special because it was the first title win for a Styrian team in Austrian professional football.
Moder was known and feared for his precise free kicks, he also has a directly converted corner in the Austrian championship.
