Přemysl Bičovský (born August 18, 1950 in Košťany ) is a former Czech football player and current football coach .

Player career

Bičovský played in his youth for Jiskra Košťany , at the age of 17 he moved to Sklo Union Teplice where he stayed until 1976 , with the exception of his military service at Dukla Prague . In 1973/74 he was the top scorer with 17 goals. In 1976 Bičovský moved to Bohemians Prague , with whom he won the championship in 1983. At the age of 33 he was allowed to move to western countries and played for SC Eisenstadt from 1983 to 1986 . He then ran for three seasons for VfB Mödling . From 1989 to 1993 he was player-coach at ASK Ybbs .

In the 1st Czechoslovak League Bičovský scored 106 goals.

For the Czechoslovak national football team Bičovský made 45 games in which he scored eleven goals. He took part in the 1982 World Cup in Spain.

Coaching career

In 1993 Bičovský began as a coach of the B team of FK Teplice and then took over the A team. In 1998 he coached FC Chomutov and Lokomotíva Česká Lípa . From 1999 to 2001 he worked again at FC Chomutov. In 2001/02 Bičovský took over SK Buldoci Karlovy Vary-Dvory , in 2002/03 he coached the SIAD Braňany team . 2003/04 he was the coach of FK SIAD Most B , from 2004 he coached the A-team, with which he was promoted to the first division. In December 2005 he was released, for the 2006/07 season he took over the team of the second division club Chmel Blšany . After a difficult preliminary round, he and his team managed to stay up.

From mid-2007 to March 2008, the Czech coached the Slovak first division club MFK Ružomberok , and in the 2008/09 season he was youth coach at the fourth division SK Roudnice nad Labem. For the 2009/10 season Bičovský took over the second division club FC Zenit Čáslav . Since July 2010 Bičovský has been the coach of the fifth division team TJ Proboštov. In August 2012, the second division FK Ústí nad Labem needed a new coach and brought Přemysl Bičovský back to professional football.
