action

Justin lives in a kingdom where bureaucratic rules rule the lives of the residents. The time of brave and heroic knights is long gone. Justin dreams of becoming as great a knight as his late grandfather was. Justin's father Reginald, the Queen's advisor and attorney, wants Justin to follow in his footsteps and become a lawyer.

After a conversation with his grandmother, who confirms his wish and gives him a golden key from his grandfather, Justin sets off - against his father's will - on his way through the kingdom. He wants to fulfill his big dream and become a knight. He also decides to look for his grandfather's lost sword. He briefly stops by his great love Lara who accidentally throws him a sock. He thinks this is her parting gift for him. On the way he meets Talia, the courageous and strong waitress of a restaurant. There he meets the magician Melchidares, who shows him the way. After a long search, he finds the tower in which a knight, a magician and a monk live: his grandfather's best friends. He can be trained to be a knight, but the magician sends him home because it is 'too dangerous'. He comes back to Lara's sweet 16 party and tries to save her from kidnappers who serve a master who wants to recreate chivalry. Together with Talia, who quit, they try to free Lara. In the end, Justin fights the man who killed his grandfather on a giant mill wheel. Justin can regain his grandfather's sword and the evil one falls into the depths. In the final scene, the queen recovers chivalry and his father signs the law. Justin brings her sock back to Lara, but Lara thinks he wants to marry her and embarrasses herself in front of the whole church. Then Justin Talia proposes marriage, which she accepts.
