Köprübaşı is a city and a district in the Turkish province of Manisa . The city is located about 90 kilometers east of the provincial capital Manisa .
The district is located in the eastern center of the province. It borders on Demirci to the east, Salihli to the south and Gördes to the north-west . The D-585 road from Salihli to Demirci leads through the district town. In the south of the district, the Gediz River is dammed with a tributary to the Demirköprü Barajı reservoir.
