Sarıgöl is a city and a district in the Turkish province of Manisa . The city is located about 120 kilometers southeast of the provincial capital Manisa .

The district is located in the extreme southeast of the province. It borders on Alaşehir in the west and on the provinces of Uşak , Denizli and Aydın in the east to south . The D585 road runs from Salihli to Denizli to the west of the district town . Part of the Afşar Barajı reservoir lies in the northwest of the district .
