The canton of Samoëns was a French canton in the Haute-Savoie department until 2015 . It comprised four parishes; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Samoëns . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. Most recently, François Mogenet was a representative in the conseil général des Départements.
