The canton of Sallanches is a French administrative unit in the department of Haute-Savoie in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It includes nine municipalities in the Arrondissement of Bonneville and has its main town (French:  bureau centralisateur ) in Sallanches . As part of the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons, it was expanded slightly in spring 2015.

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton of Sallanches included the seven municipalities of Combloux , Cordon , Demi-Quartier , Domancy , Megève , Praz-sur-Arly and Sallanches . Its layout corresponded to an area of ​​188.54 km ² . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 7422.
