The canton of Rumilly is a French constituency in the department of Haute-Savoie in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It currently comprises 28 communities in the Arrondissement of Annecy and has its main town (French:  bureau centralisateur ) in Rumilly . As part of the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons, it was significantly expanded in spring 2015.

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton Rumilly included the 18 municipalities of Bloye , Boussy , Crempigny-Bonneguête , Étercy , Hauteville-sur-Fier , Lornay , Marcellaz-Albanais , Marigny-Saint-Marcel , Massingy , Moye , Rumilly , Saint-Eusèbe , Sales , Thusy , Val-de-Fier , Vallières , Vaulx and Versonnex . Its layout corresponded to an area of ​​170.81 km ² . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 7418.
