The canton of Abondance was 2015 a French canton in the department of Haute-Savoie on the border of the canton of Valais . It comprised six parishes and had its main town (French: chef-lieu ) in Abondance . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. The last representative in the conseil général des Départements was Pascal Bel ( DVD ).
