The canton of Reignier-Ésery was a French canton in the Haute-Savoie department until 2015 . It comprised eight parishes ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Reignier-Ésery . The last representative in the conseil général des Départements was Maurice Sonnerat from 1985 to 2015. The canton was renamed on April 1, 2007 together with its main town in Reignier-Ésery. The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons finally resulted in its dissolution in March 2015.
