The Canton Bonneville is a French constituency in the Haute-Savoie department in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It includes communities from the arrondissements of Bonneville and Saint-Julien-en-Genevois , its capital (French:  bureau centralisateur ) is Bonneville . As part of the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons, it was expanded in spring 2015.

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton Bonneville included the 13 municipalities of Ayse , Bonneville , Brizon , Contamine-sur-Arve , Entremont , Faucigny , Le Petit-Bornand-les-Glières , Marcellaz , Marignier , Mont-Saxonnex , Peillonnex , Thyez and Vougy . Its layout corresponded to an area of ​​202.24 km ² . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 7408.
