Count Karl Ludwig Adam Friedrich von Flemming , also Carl von Flemming (* December 18, 1783 in Crossen ; † February 18, 1866 ibid) was a German manor owner ( Schloss Crossen ) and civil servant in Saxon and Prussian services.

Count Flemming came from the Pomeranian noble family von Flemming . The ancestor Jakob Heinrich von Flemming was cabinet minister, general marshal and postmaster general in Poland and Saxony. In 1721 he was made an imperial count . The family owned the manors Crossen, Iven and other estates. As a nephew, Karl von Flemming was related to the Prussian reformer State Chancellor of Karl August von Hardenberg . His parents were Johann Heinrich Joseph Georg von Flemming (1752-1830) and his wife Christiane Marie Charlotte von Hardenberg (born November 14, 1763, † January 27, 1814).

In 1813 von Flemming entered the service of the Kingdom of Saxony. In 1817 he went into Prussian service and was appointed to the government of the Merseburg government. Just one year later, von Flemming was director of a government department in Koblenz . In 1825 he was appointed as the successor to Friedrich von Bernuth as district president in Arnsberg . He held this office until 1831, before he was transferred to Marienwerder in the same position . In 1844, von Flemming requested and received retirement. Von Flemming was an honorary member of the Academy of Sciences in Erfurt .

Carl von Flemming bought the Großhelmsdorf estate from Heinrich LXXII in 1839 . Reuss.

He married Countess Wilhelmine Charlotte Sophie von Hardenberg on May 10, 1812 in Kassel , Hesse (* November 10, 1792, † November 8, 1865). The couple had the following children:
