The hamlet of Katzenthal was first mentioned around 1220 , when a knight Heinrich Fuß transferred property in Kazzental to the Indersdorf monastery . The Gastlgütl belonged to the Heilig-Geist-Spital in Aichach and the Menter -gut to Hofmark Affing . Since 1660 the place belonged to the parish Affing, 1804 Katzenthal came from the parish Gaulzhofen zu Affing. The small St. Valentin chapel is located in the village .
