Kinderode is a hamlet of Bleicherode in the Nordhausen district in Thuringia .

location

The hamlet is on the Wipper , west of Nohra in a rural area. The federal highway 38 leads northwest to and in the district . To the southeast is the neighboring hamlet of Hünstein and further east to Wollersleben .

history

On December 29, 1133, Kinderode was first mentioned in a document book in Naumburg.

The Südharz crematorium is located in the hamlet .

The Nohraer Mühlgraben once branched off from the Wipper east of Kinderode .
