Wipperdorf is a district of the city and rural community of Bleicherode in the Nordhausen district in Thuringia .

geography

Wipperdorf is located directly on the Halle – Hann railway line. Münden , the Landstrasse 3080 (formerly Bundesstrasse 80 ) and the Bundesautobahn 38 in the valley of the Wipper . The main road in 1034 through the three districts after Kehmstedt and Wolkramshausen. The L 1035 branches off to Bleicherode .

history

The municipality of Wipperdorf was created on July 1, 1950 through the merger of the previously independent municipalities of Mitteldorf and Pustleben.

On January 1, 2019, the municipalities of Wipperdorf, Friedrichsthal , Kleinbodungen , Kraja , Hainrode , Nohra , Etzelsrode and Wolkramshausen as well as the city of Bleicherode merged to form the new city and rural municipality of Bleicherode. The municipality of Wipperdorf belonged to the administrative community Hainleite . The districts of the community were Pustleben , Mitteldorf and Oberdorf , with Mittel- and Oberdorf forming a closed settlement core, which is directly connected to the east of Pustleben.

Municipal council

The municipal council in Wipperdorf last consisted of twelve council members who belong to the common list of volunteer fire brigades / free voters. (As of local elections May 2014)

Description : "A red sign, divided by a silver wave bar, one below and two six-pointed silver stars above." It symbolizes the three districts of Pustleben, Mittel- and Oberdorf.

Regular events

The fair in Oberdorf and Mitteldorf is always held on the fourth weekend in October. The Pustleben fair is always celebrated on the fifth weekend in October. If there are only four weekends in October, it takes place on the first weekend in November.
