The Evangelical Lutheran listed church Kleinbodungen is located in Kleinbodungen , a district of the city and rural community of Bleicherode in the Thuringian district of Nordhausen . The exact time of origin is not documented. The church tower was built in the transition from Romanesque to Gothic . The nave is intended according to the year above the portal have been renewed in 1730, with older parts have been used. The interior of the church, covered by a wooden barrel vault , is characterized by a two-storey, horseshoe-shaped gallery . The simple baroque hall church built from plastered quarry stones has an elongated, drawn-in and straight closed choir . In the west is the high, recessed church tower on a square floor plan . The lower floors of the tower with their small arched windows come from the previous building. In 1730 the tower was given a baroque, slate-covered dome . It consists of the stump of a pyramid roof with a square attachment with the tower clock sitting on it , which is covered with an eight-sided pointed helmet . The interior of the first floor of the tower has a arched vault . The choir is covered with a hipped roof. It is currently divided as a community room. The outside of the nave is covered with a gable roof. The galleries are made of wood. The baroque church furnishings include a baptismal angel and a carved altarpiece of a winged altar with a crucifixion group from the 16th century. The organ with 15 registers , divided into 2 manuals and pedal , was built by Gottlieb Knauf in 1840 .
