Kismara Pessatti
Kismara Pessatti (born June 3, 1974 in Curitiba ) is a Brazilian opera and concert singer ( alto ).
Life
The Brazilian opera singer studied singing (Escola de Música e Belas Artes do Paraná) and acting ( Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná ) in her home country , and she received her diploma in opera at the Hanns Eisler Music Academy (Norma Sharp, Júlia Várady ) in Berlin - and concert singer. She continued her education in master classes by Thomas Hampson , Francisco Araiza , Reri Grist , Ruth Rohner and Alberto Zedda . After a membership in the Opera Studio, she was a member of the ensemble at the Zurich Opera House from 2003 to 2008 .
Today the alto is internationally active both as an opera and concert singer, such as Carmen with the Bergisches Symphoniker, Orfeo in Orfeo ed Euridice at the Theatro Municipal de São Paulo, Maddalena in Rigoletto in Saint-Étienne , and Erda in Der Ring des Nibelungen ( Richard Wagner ) in the Aalto-Theater Essen, as well as soloist in the 2nd and 8th symphonies by Gustav Mahler , Karl Amadeus Hartmann's 1st symphony, Messiah by Handel , Bach's Johannes and Matthäus Passion , Arthur Honegger's Jean d ' Arc au bûcher , "Wagner cycle" (Das Rheingold, Die Walküre, Götterdämmerung) at the Berlin Philharmonic, Mozart's Requiem and Verdi's Messa da Requiem , Manuel de Falla's El amor brujo . The Brazilian has made guest appearances in various countries such as Germany, Holland, Japan, England, France, Venezuela - Orquesta Sinfónica de la Juventud Venezolana Simón Bolívar , Italy, Switzerland, Russia, Colombia and Brazil.
Kismara Pessatti has worked with conductors such as Nikolaus Harnoncourt , Lothar Zagrosek , Marek Janowski , Franz Welser-Möst , Nello Santi , Vladimir Fedoseyev , Ralf Weikert , Ingo Metzmacher , Thomas Adès , Ádám Fischer , Vladimir Jurowski , Markus Stenz , Patrick Fournillier, Teodor Currentzis, Facundo Agudin, Christoph von Dohnányi , Bernard Haitink , Stefan Soltesz , Lorin Maazel , Helmuth Rilling ( Internationale Bachakademie Stuttgart ).
Pessatti has an extensive repertoire that ranges from Monteverdi to Rossini and Wagner to new music . The artist speaks six languages and lives in Zurich .
