Klingelborn is a single farm in the municipality of Finnentrop in the Olpe district ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).

The farm is located on the northern slope of the upper Salweytal , about 400 meters northeast of Weuspert and north of the county road to Obersalwey .

history

The Klingelborn farm on the border of the Fretterer Mark was founded between 1646 and 1658 by Adam Vogt von Elspe through the purchase of Serkenrodern lands. He belonged to the parish of Schönholthausen . There is evidence of a Christoph Klingelborn on the farm around 1700, around 1819 16 people lived there. With the formation of the community Finnentrop on July 1, 1969, Klingelborn became a district of Finnentrop.
