The Knooppunt Hattemerbroek is a motorway junction in the Dutch province of Gelderland in the west of the municipality of Hattem near Zwolle . It connects the Rijksweg 28 (A28: Utrecht - Zwolle - Assen - Groningen ) with the Rijksweg 50 (A50, N50: Emmeloord - Zwolle - Arnhem - Eindhoven ).
The motorway junction is named after the village of the same name, Hattemerbroek , which is about 1 km away.
history
The Knooppunt Hattemerbroek was opened to traffic on November 21, 1977 with the completion of the section of the A50 between Apeldoorn and the Knooppunt Hattemerbroek. The A28 had previously been built in this section by November 14, 1958.
In 1985, with the start of construction work on the N50 between the Knooppunt Hattemerbroek and Kampen, the former motorway triangle was expanded into a motorway intersection. On October 4, 1988, the two-lane section was opened to traffic.
At the end of 2009 the motorway junction was briefly incorrectly signposted. For example, the A28 towards Zwolle was signposted as the A50 towards Zwolle.
Design
The motorway junction is mainly built in the shape of a clover, but has a connecting ramp similar to a turbine. The connecting ramp, which is similar to the turbine shape, and the connecting ramp coming from the south in the direction of Zwolle are each developed with two lanes. All other connecting ramps are single lane.
