Commissioner for Education and Culture

The Commissioner for Education and Culture is a member of the European Commission .

The office of the Commissioner for Education, Training and Culture has existed with different responsibilities since 1985, with an interruption from 1995 to 1999. It reports to the Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture , which consists of five directorates with up to six units each and one task Force exists. The Authority's magazine, a quarterly called The Magazine , is published in six languages ​​in German, English, French, Italian, Polish and Spanish.

The area of ​​multilingualism became the responsibility of the Commissioner for Education and Culture in 2004.
