Commission Prodi
The European Commission Prodi (September 13, 1999 - November 21, 2004 ) took over the official duties of the interim commission under Manuel Marín . On November 22, 2004 the official business was handed over to the Barroso I Commission. The commission consisted of the following members until the eastward expansion of the EU on May 1, 2004:
