Kristi Stassinopoulou ( Greek Κρίστη Στασινοπούλου , born January 20, 1956 in Athens ) is a Greek singer .

From 1978 she was a musical performer . She played Maria Magdalena in the Greek version of Jesus Christ Superstar . As the winner of the Greek preliminary decision, she was allowed to represent her country at the Eurovision Song Contest 1983 in Munich. With the title Mou les she only reached 14th place. In that year she could also be seen as Evita Perón in the musical Evita .

Her debut album was released in 1986. This is where her style was defined, which she will maintain in the years to come: a mix of traditional folk sounds and modern pop / rock / electro rhythms. She worked with various composers and musicians and had performances with her live band all over the world. The composer and multi-instrumentalist Stathis Kalyviotis has been her musical partner since the 1990s .
