Agathonas Iakovidis, Eurovision 2013

Agathonas Iakovidis ( Greek Αγάθωνας Ιακωβίδης ; * 2. January 1955 in Egnatia , Thessaloniki , † 5. August 2020 in Thessaloniki ) was a Greek Rembetikosänger .

Iakovidis was in the music business from 1973 and had released several albums since then. Together with the group Koza Mostra he won the Greek preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with the Skasong Alcohol Is Free and was allowed to compete in Malmö , where the formation came in sixth.

He was found dead in his bed on August 5, 2020. He died of a heart attack.
