Keti Garbi ( Greek Καίτη Γαρμπή , born June 8, 1963 in Egaleo near Athens ; bourgeois Katerina Garbi ) is a Greek singer of "Modern Laika" and pop music . In addition to her native Greece , she is also known in Cyprus , Bulgaria and Turkey .

Career

Her career began in 1987 when she sang a cover version of "Saint Trope" and then got a recording deal. She released the first album Prova . Other albums such as Gyalia Karfia and Endalma Silipseos moved even more in the Laïki style . Among other things, she was a participant in the Eurovision Song Contest 1993 with the title Ellada, chora tou fotos and reached place 9. With Tou Fegariou Anapnoes she experimented with pop music and achieved gold status , later followed by platinum.
