Kristin Packert

Kristin Päckert (born October 27, 1986 in Lutherstadt Eisleben ) is a German dramaturge .

Career

Kristin Päckert studied theater and media studies , German , sociology and pedagogy at the University of Bayreuth and the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg and graduated in 2014 with a master’s degree .

While still a student she worked for two years in a Nuremberg firm as a paralegal and was from 2006 to 2009 an assistant director in Bayreuth , Fürth and Nuremberg. At the 60th  Festival of Young Artists Bayreuth in 2010 she worked as a production dramaturge at the world premiere of Richard Wagner's “A Capitulation - Comedy in Ancient Manner” alongside director Georgios Kapoglou . Wagner wrote the libretto for it, but never set it to music. Therefore the composer Paul Leonard Schäffer took over the setting on behalf of the festival.

In autumn 2010 she moved to Berlin to devote herself to her second major, media studies . In 2011 she worked in the culture department of the ZDF capital studio in Berlin, was in charge of “ La voix humaine ” by Francis Poulenc in Frankfurt am Main , and in 2012 she worked in the set production management of the ARD crime thriller “ Heiter bis tödlich : Hauptstadtrevier ” in 2012 and was in charge of Mannheim Mozart's early work " Bastien and Bastienne ".

One engagement led her in the 2013/2014 and 2014/2015 seasons as an acting dramaturge in the management team at the Theater Kiel before moving to the management team of the Heilbronn Theater as a dramaturge from 2015/2016 to 2017/2018 . Päckert has been a lecturer at the German National Academic Foundation since 2017 .

Kristin Päckert has been Head of Marketing and Public Relations at the Stadttheater Bremerhaven since the 2018/2019 season .
