history

Bell tower

The village, which originally belonged to the Kojetín rule , probably became extinct during the Hussite Wars . In 1520 the place was called desolate. Ringelsdorf was repopulated with German settlers in 1690 by the owner of the Austerlitz estate , Dominik Andreas I. von Kaunitz . One and a half kilometers to the south was a manorial farm. Ringelsdorf initially formed part of the German-speaking Austerlitz-Wischau language island . After the establishment of the parish in Neu Raußnitz, Ringelsdorf, which had previously been parish to Alt Raußnitz, was re-parish there. In 1790 the Kraužek already consisted of 52 houses and had 293 inhabitants. In 1843, 318 people lived in the 62 houses in the village. Gregor Wolny described the place as German-speaking. Until the middle of the 19th century, the village always remained subordinate to Count Kaunitz on Austerlitz.

After the abolition of patrimonial Krauschek formed from 1850 a community in the district administration Wischau .

In the course of the 19th century, the German population was assimilated. A large fire destroyed 18 houses and ten barns on May 22, 1871. On August 1, 1976, Kroužek was incorporated into Rousínov . In 1991 there were 266 people in the village. In the 2001 census, 107 houses and 275 inhabitants were counted.
