Krystofer "Krys" Barch (born March 26, 1980 in Guelph , Ontario ) is a former Canadian ice hockey player and current coach who played 384 games for the Dallas Stars , Florida Panthers and New Jersey during his active career between 1997 and 2014 Devils has played in the National Hockey League as the left winger .

Career

Drafted was Barch already in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft at 106th of the Washington Capitals , but he completed his NHL debut until 15 January 2007 for the Dallas Stars against the Los Angeles Kings . He came to Texas as a free agent prior to the 2006/07 season . He previously spent his entire career in North American minor leagues , mainly the American Hockey League . Known as a tough player, he scored 217 penalty minutes in just 57 games in the American Hockey League and the National Hockey League in his debut NHL season . During his junior years with the London Knights , Barch was still known as a scorer and less than an enforcer , with 123 points in 187 games.

In December 2011, the Dallas Stars transferred him together with a six- round suffrage in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft in exchange for Jake Hauswirth and a five-round suffrage in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft to the Florida Panthers . In July 2012, he signed a two-year contract as a free agent with the New Jersey Devils , who gave him back to the Florida Panthers after a season in September 2013. There, his one-year contract was not extended.
