Kurt Vorhofer Prize

The Austrian Kurt Vorhofer Prize for Political Journalism of the Journalists' Union is awarded in cooperation with the daily newspaper Kleine Zeitung and the association . The prize is endowed with 7,200 euros and is presented by the Austrian Federal President .

Kurt Vorhofer , who died in 1995 and was the deputy editor-in-chief and head of the Vienna office of the “Kleine Zeitung”, gave its name to the award, which is mostly awarded annually in the Parliament and Hofburg .
