Kurt Weill - American Songs is a live CD from Caterina Valente .

In 1990, Caterina Valente prepared a concert with the WDR Bigband for the Cologne Philharmonic . The program included the American songs by Kurt Weill in jazzy big band arrangements by Roger Kellaway. The first concert took place on March 30, 1990 and the second on April 4, 1990. The well-known journalist Wibke Bruhns moderated the evening . The Bear Family Records label released a compilation of the concert on April 4, 1990 on CD on behalf of WDR in 2000.
