Lütgenholzen is a district in the northwest of the town of Alfeld (Leine) in the Hildesheim district in Lower Saxony .
geography
The place is located in the Leinebergland west of the Seven Mountains and Leine and east of the Duinger Berg . It is located on Kreisstraße 409, which connects it with the neighboring towns of Hoyershausen in the north and Brünighausen in the south .
history
The place was first mentioned in documents between 800 and 900 in the records of the Corvey Monastery .
In the course of the regional and administrative reform, Lütgenholzen, which belonged to the district of Holzminden , lost its independence on March 1, 1974 and has been part of the city of Alfeld (Leine) since then.
