The state road 333 , L 333 for short, leads from Troisdorf to Morsbach - Erblingen . The centerpiece is the former Siegtalstrasse, which was created around 1859 to accompany the construction of the railroad's victory line. The L 333 is partly identical to the Sieg-Freizeitstraße . Most of the L 333 is integrated into the Siegtal Pur event , which extends to Netphen .

Siegburg

The L 333 begins in Siegburg on Luisenstraße, the further course is called in Troisdorf as Bundesstraße 8 Frankfurter Straße. The border is the federal highway 56 .

Sections 1.1 (up to L 16 / Johannesstraße), 1.2 (up to L 332 / Willy-Brandt-Ring), 1.3 (up to L 16 / Bonner Straße), 1.4 (up to Wilhelm -Ostwald-Straße) and 1.5 (up to L 316 / Wahnbachtalstraße) are in Siegburg.

Hennef

Section 1.7 runs from L 121 / Hauptstrasse, which crosses under the A 3 and extends to Stossdorfer Strasse in Hennef (Sieg) . Sections 1.8 (to the A 560 exit Hennef (Sieg) -West), 1.9 (to the L 125 / Wippenhohner Straße), 2.2 (to the roundabout) and 2.3 (to the A 560 exit Hennef (Sieg) -Ost) are located directly in the Hennef city area.

At the end of the expansion of the A 560 , the Europastraße leads as L 333 / section 3.2 to the old course of the state road and to the historic beginning of the Siegtalstraße . Here the road is laid out close to the slopes of the narrow Siegtal valley from here on. Through Dondorf and Greuelsiefen you get to Haus Attenbach on the K 36 (Rtg. Allner), where there are signs to the monastery Bödingen . From here the L 333 also becomes the Sieg-Freizeitstraße.

Section 4 leads to Stein (K 36 towards Adscheid ) and to the K 19 with the town of Blankenberg . The further section 5 leads over winding five kilometers through Bülgenauel to Landesstraße 268 in Eitorf- Bach, where you can reach Merten Castle and Monastery via a bridge.

Eitorf

Section 5 leads to the K 27, section 7 to the L 86 ( Bouraueler Brücke), section 8 Bahnhofstraße to the L 86 Brückenstraße and thus to the center of Eitorf . Section 9 goes to Alzenbach , where the K 18 branches off and the L 333 changes over a bridge back to the northern bank of the Sieg.

Windeck

After the Siegbrücke (section 10), where the L 317 joins, section 11 leads over five kilometers past the Unkelmühle through Stromberg to Herchen-Bahnhof . Here the state road 312 (Igelshof) branches off towards Leuscheid .

Herchen is 2 kilometers further on the L 312 (direction Much ). This section 12 is also very winding, similar to the further course of the L 333. After 6 kilometers in section 13, after Röcklingen , Kaltbachmühle and Hoppengarten, you reach Rossel / Wilberhofen with the junction of the K 55.

Section 14 leads to Dattenfeld , where there is a one-way street regulation (sections 15, 16, 17). Section 18 leads five kilometers past the Schlossberg of Windeck Castle (Sieg) and to Schladern at the B 256 / K 7 roundabout . This is where the L 333 ends in its course at the Sieg, the eastern sections of the B 256 five and four suppress the sections 19 and 20 of the L 333. In Rosbach , after two kilometers, the L 333 branches off again. Hurst off. Section 5 of Hennef-Stein's L 333 is frequented by over 8,500 vehicles every day, and the number is rising. Sections 5 and 13 in particular are known for serious accidents. Since 2005, ten people have died in traffic accidents on the L 333 (2005: 1, 2006: 3, 2007: 1, 2008: 1, 2009: 4). Stationary measuring systems in Greuelsiefen and Eitorf-Harmonie as well as numerous mobile radar measurements are used to monitor the numerous speed restrictions.
