La Foa is a municipality in the southern province in New Caledonia . It is located on the main island of Grande Terre , but there are also other small islands off the coast. The places in La Foa are: Koindé, La Foa (main town), Forêt Noire (La Foa), Oua-Tom, Oui-poin and Pocquereux.

The highest point is in the north of Koindé at 1051 m.
