style

Compared to the albums Clandestino and Próxima Estación: Esperanza , La Radiolina is more oriented towards the punk- influenced style of the chaos band Mano Negra . The use of certain sound effects on several albums, a typical stylistic feature of Chaos solo albums, will, however, continue. Elements of some songs, such as certain riffs , are also taken up in other pieces.

reception

The album could only partially meet the high expectations. Jon Lusk from the BBC criticized that the songs seemed unfinished despite the six years that had passed since Próxima Estación: Esperanza . (The album Sibérie m'était contéee , which was released in 2004, was only released in a small edition and did not become very well known) Joe Tangari made a similar comment on Pitchfork Media , but emphasized that the album still contained a lot of great songs.
