Lago Norte , officially Portuguese Região Administrativa de Lago Norte , is the administrative region RA XVIII with 29,505 inhabitants in the north of Brasilia in the Brazilian federal district . Lago Norte is characterized by villas and low-storey houses and is located on a peninsula of Lago Paranoá . The administrative region is one of the wealthiest areas in all of Brazil. The administrative region borders on Jardim Botânico , Plano Piloto , Sobradinho , Itapoã and Paranoá .
