Candangolândia , officially Portuguese Região Administrativa de Candangolândia , is the smallest administrative region RA XIX of the Brazilian federal district and a satellite town with 16,196 inhabitants 12 km southwest of the city center. The administrative region borders on Núcleo Bandeirante , Guará , Plano Piloto , Lago Sul and Park Way . The name goes back to the so-called "Candangos", the workers who built Brasilia.
