Lauingen district court

The district court of Lauingen had been an office in Lauingen an der Donau since 1809 . Through the secularization of 1802/03 and the mediatization of 1806, new areas had come to Bavaria and made a new administrative structure necessary.

On July 1, 1862, the district offices were established in Bavaria and the administration of justice and administration were separated. The institutions for the administration of justice were given the name of the district court (from January 1, 1879, the district court ) and the administrative authorities the name of the district office .

The old regional courts of Lauingen, Höchstädt and Dillingen were merged in 1862 to form the Dillingen district office .
