The leek is a 15 kilometer long stream in the Swiss canton of Thurgau .
It rises near Lanterswil in the municipality of Bussnang , flows through Märwil and Affeltrangen , where it takes up the Hartenauerbach , then past Lommis , Weingarten , Kalthäusern and Stettfurt to Matzingen , where shortly after it merges with the Thunbach it flows into the Murg from the right .
The brook, which often has floods , was partially straightened after a major flood in June 1876.
The leek used to be rich in trout and pike .
