Laurean Wagner

Laurean Wagner , real name Christian Wagner (* 1990 in Pirmasens ) is a German actor .

Life

Laurean Wagner grew up bilingual (German / English) in Germany (with stations in Rhineland-Palatinate , Baden-Württemberg and Hamburg ), France ( Paris ) and England ( London ).

After initially studying psychology in London, he decided to train as an actor, which he completed from 2011 to 2013 at the “Drama Center London”. Later he attended various workshops and coachings for film and dubbing actors, a. a. with Teresa Harder and at the Institute for Acting, Film and Television Professions (ISFF).

After completing his acting training, he went to Berlin and received his first theater engagements, first at the Deutsches Theater and then in 2014 at the Schaubühne Berlin . He then worked in various independent theater productions ( Hebbel am Ufer , Greenhouse Berlin, Ballhaus Ost ) in Berlin . From 2014 he worked with the director Falk Richter and the choreographer Nir De Volff on various theater projects with dance , in which he appeared at the Schauspielhaus Vienna and in guest performances at the Maxim Gorki Theater , in Lisbon and Liège .

In the 2016/17 season he was a guest at the Theater Oberhausen in the production Deportation Cast , directed by Christopher-Fares Köhler . In 2018 he appeared at the Volksbühne Berlin in the world premiere of Liberté , directed by Albert Serra (alongside Ingrid Caven , Anne Tismer and Helmut Berger ) and at the Berliner Ensemble .

In addition to his theater work, Wagner has also been in front of the camera for cinema and TV productions since 2011, where he began with small roles in international productions. For the cinema he shot a. a. with Tomas Alfredson , Christopher Nolan , Martin Hawie , David Wnendt , Robert Schwentke and Heinz Emigholz . He had TV roles a. a. in the crime series SOKO Wismar (2015, as the private secretary of a wealthy patron ) and Großstadtrevier (2018, as a suspect alongside Aleksandar Tesla and Saskia Fischer ).

Laurean Wagner lives in Berlin.
