Le Marigot is a French commune in the overseas department of Martinique that has existed since 1889 and has 3,196 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017). Administratively it belongs to the Arrondissement of La Trinité . The residents call themselves the Marigotain (e) s. Le Marigot belonged to the canton of Le Marigot until its dissolution in 2015 .

Le Marigot is located in the northeast of the island, directly on the Atlantic Ocean and is passed by the Route N1 national . Local quarters are Charpentier, Garanne, Plateforme, La Marie, Duhamelin, Fonds-d'Or, Sénéchal, Le Bourg, La Pointe, Dehaumont, Fleury, Papin, Durand, Dominante, Dussaut, Duvallon, Grand-Desgras, La Débite, Crassous and Fund Dominique.
