Le Lamentin is a municipality in Martinique . With 62.32 km² and 39,809 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) it is the largest municipality in Martinique in terms of area and the second largest in terms of population. The Lézarde River flows through the municipality, making it the longest river on the island at 30 km. Martinique International Airport and the Société Anonyme de la Raffinerie des Antilles refinery are located in the city .
