Le Pré-Saint-Gervais is a French commune with 17,950 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Seine-Saint-Denis department, northeast of Paris . The inhabitants are called Gervaisiens . They mostly just call the community le Pré .

Economy and Infrastructure

The community has around 450 private companies.

The Pré Saint-Gervais stop is the terminus of Métrolinie 7bis of the Paris public transport company RATP , which is also responsible for local buses and trams . Despite the name, the metro station and the neighboring Parc de la Butte-du-Chapeau-Rouge are still within the city limits of Paris, in the 19th arrondissement , a few hundred meters from the city limits of Le Pré-Saint-Gervais.

Metro line 5 runs north of Le Pré-Saint-Gervais .

The boulevard périphérique runs on the border between Le Pré-Saint-Gervais and the city of Paris in the west of the municipality .
