Lesley McNaught or Lesley McNaught-Mändli (* 10. February 1964 in Hinckley , United Kingdom ) is one for England and Switzerland -starting jumper .
She was part of the Swiss team that won the silver medal at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, and led the world rankings for female show jumpers from 1989 to 2001.
Life
Lesley McNaught was born and raised in England. She obtained Swiss citizenship through marriage and competed in numerous championships for Switzerland. In 1991 and 2005 Lesley McNaught won the Swiss Show Jumping Championship . In addition to her riding career, McNaught was also active in sulky and was European champion in trotting .
For years she was an integral part of the Swiss national show jumping team and was a successful winner of the Grand Prix in Dortmund , Mannheim , Zurich , Bologna , Paris , Cannes , Washington , São Paulo , Vienna , Istanbul , Sofia and other cities.
