The Town of Liberty is located in southwest Wisconsin and is traversed in the extreme southeast by the Kickapoo River , a right tributary of the Wisconsin River, which flows into the Mississippi . The Wisconsin State Highway 56 leads in west-east direction through the Town of Liberty. In addition, the County Highways S and SS run through the area of the town. All other roads are subordinate country roads, some unpaved roads and inner-city connecting roads.
