Lieder Live is the only live album by German pop singer Adel Tawil to date .
Creation and artwork
The live recordings for Lieder Live were made on September 26, 2014 at a concert in the palace gardens in Münster . The open-air concert took place in front of around 10,000 fans as part of the celebrations for the 750th anniversary of the St. Paulus Cathedral . Except for one title, all pieces were written by Adel Tawil together with other co-authors. On most of the songs Tawil worked together with Beatzarre , Tobias Kuhn and Konstantin Scherer . The album was released under the music label Vertigo Berlin and distributed by Universal Music Publishing . On the cover of the album - in addition to artist name and song title - Tawil can be seen during a concert. In the foreground, all the tracks on the album can be seen in a kind of graffiti font.
Publication and promotion
The first release of Lieder Live took place on November 14, 2014 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland . The album consists of 16 live recordings. In addition to the regular album release, a “Deluxe Edition” was released at the same time. This includes a video album with the live recordings of the concert.
The concert in Münster took place as part of Tawils Lieder Tour . He continued this together with his live band the following year. In total, they played 62 concerts in one and a half years. The tour took her through Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Track list
All lyrics are written in German. Musically, the songs move in the realm of pop music . With the exception of So it should remain , all of Tawil's songs were written with changing composers.
Compared to the studio version of Lieder , the following titles are not included in the live version: Under Water, Built on Sand, Snow, Darkness, New Years and Paradise. In return , there are three old Ich + Ich songs with Vom Same Stern , Stark and So it shall remain, and Stadt an old piece in which Tawil was involved as a guest singer.

All sales of the album were added to those of Lieder , so that the album could not place itself in the charts as an independent sound carrier.
