The song was written jointly by Summer Cem, KC Rebell and Adel Tawil. The piece was produced by Juh-Dee. The mastering was done through 24-96 mastering, under the direction of Robin Schmidt. Voll mein Ding was released under the music label Banger Musik and distributed by Warner Music . The song was first published as part of Cem & Rebell's collaboration album M XIMUM on June 25, 2017.

For full my thing is the second collaboration between Summer Cem, KC Rebell and Adel Tawil. Three months earlier, the three released the single Bis hier und weiter . The piece was created for Tawil's second studio album So schön anders and achieved chart listings in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
In an interview with Melissa Lee on the VIVA Top 100 , KC Rebell explained how the renewed collaboration with Tawil came about: Tawil asked Rebell for a featuring through his music label Universal Music . Cem and Rebell did this for Tawil's album So nicely different from what Until Here and Further emerged . It turned out that they all wanted to do the thing with three people and as an exchange they did a featuring for their album M Λ XIMUM .

The lyrics to Voll mein Ding are written in German. The music and the text come from the joint work of Summer Cem, KC Rebell and Adel Tawil. Musically, the song moves in the realm of rap and pop music . The song is based on two verses, a bridge and a chorus . The first verse is rapped by KC Rebell, followed by the first chorus. This is followed by the second verse, which is rapped by Summer Cem, and another refrain. After the second chorus there is a bridge, which, like all choruses, is sung by Tawil. At the end, the refrain follows a third time. |

The music video for Voll mein Ding celebrated its premiere on June 15, 2017 on YouTube . All three performers can be seen singing the song in different locations as well as people of different ages, genders and origins who dance to the song alone or in groups at different locations. Towards the end of the song everyone gathers and celebrates together to the song. The total length of the video is 2:53 minutes. Directed by Shaho Casado. The music video was produced by the Famefabrik. To date, the music video has over 1.6 million views on YouTube (as of June 2017).

Robin Schmidt from the German online magazine laut.de awarded three out of five stars for the overall product M Λ XIMUM and only came up with the statement “Radiosingle” for the title Voll mein Ding .
Marc Schleichert from the German-language music portal hiphop.de described the song as the "perfect soundtrack to get out of line".

For full my thing is not an official single release, the song reached only due to high downloads the charts. In Germany, the song reached position 34 in the single charts in four weeks . The piece was able to place itself in the daily evaluations of the German iTunes charts for five days and reached its highest rating at position 49. In Austria, the piece reached position 65 in the charts in one week.
For Summer Cem as an author and performer, Voll mein Ding is the 13th chart success in Germany and the sixth in Austria. For KC Rebell as author and performer this is the 27th chart success in Germany and the twelfth in Austria. For Tawil as an interpreter this is his 16th chart success in Germany and his eleventh in Austria. As an author, with Voll mein Ding he reached the German single charts for the 31st time and the single charts in Austria for the 16th time. In his work as a music producer, Juh-Dee reached the German charts for the 15th time and the Austrian charts for the twelfth time.
