Vocational schools
The spectrum of vocational schools in Heidelberg is broad: Three types of vocational schools are represented: industrial, commercial and domestic and nursing. School kindergartens
School kindergartens serve to support children with developmental retardation. They are attended by children from the 3rd year of life (with physical disabilities from the 2nd year of age) up to school enrollment . The aim of these kindergartens is to enable children to start school at a general elementary school . A permit from the Mannheim State Education Authority is required to attend these school kindergartens.
