List of baths in Vienna

This list gives an overview of the baths in Vienna . The majority of these public bathing establishments are operated by the City of Vienna ( MA 44 , Wiener Bäder ). Not included in this list are the numerous natural bathing areas on Vienna's waters, many of which are along the Old and New Danube .

Directly next to the Therme Oberlaa , which opened in 1974, the Therme Wien was built in early 2009 after a second spring had been developed and opened at the end of 2010.

After a fire in January 2009, the wooden building was reconstructed in agreement with the Federal Monuments Office, and the pool was reopened in July 2009.

Opened in 1907 as the lido of the Commune Wien am Gänsehäufel , it was completely destroyed by bombing in the last weeks of the Second World War , rebuilt from 1948 and reopened in 1950.
