The list of shareholdings of Madsack contains an overview of the majority interests of Madsack GmbH & Co. KG with operating business . The Madsack media group (the company's own media name) acts as a holding company as well as the publisher of the two Hanover daily newspapers Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung and Neue Presse . The calculated economic participation rates may differ from the participation percentages in the annual report, as the latter is different in accordance with Section 313 of the German Commercial CodeCalculate differently: Here, 100 percent of the equity holdings of the group companies (i.e. companies in which the publishing company holds the majority) are included in the quota, even if the company only holds around 51 percent.

Digital business

Movie and TV
With the TVN GROUP , the Madsack media group offers extensive editorial and technical services for film, television and the Internet at ten locations. In addition to TV production as the most important business area (mainly broadcasting, live broadcasting of sports and shows, television formats, news), the group offers services in the corporate media area (image films as well as online and app productions).
